Shell Oil Co.'s new campaign stars cars that feel like dancing when they fill up with FormulaShell detergent gasoline. One of three 30-second commercials shows a red sports car spinning, gyrating and gliding by with a rear-wheel moonwalk while singing the praises of FormulaShell. , Houston, and animation was done by R/Greenberg Associated, New York. Starting today, the new $20 million campaign will run on network, national cable and 38 spot markets, using the theme line, "The world's best selling gasoline."
