Quaker launching hot cereal ad push

Quaker Oats Co. breaks its new fall hot cereal advertising Aug. 30 with a rewarming of last year's "Warms you heart and soul" creative from Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago. The push was billed as the "largest advertising campaign in Quaker's 123-year history," although spending wasn't disclosed. The effort pairs participants in Quaker's "Smart Heart Challenge" last year in a new print and TV effort highlighting town residents who lowered cholesterol through a low-fat diet that included exercise and Quaker oatmeal.
