Quaker State goes in-house

Quaker State Corp., Irving, Texas, moved its $18 million motor oil ad account in-house. Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago, which won the account in August 1996, described the split as "mutual." Quaker moved media buying to CPM, Chicago, from FCB. A new VP-marketing, Bill Tucker, joined Quaker three months ago.
