Radio reps plan e-transfer of orders

Published on .

Leading radio rep companies Interep and Katz Radio Group, both New York, are working together to provide an industrywide Internet-based system to electronically transfer radio orders. In preparation to launch an independent joint venture, Katz Radio Group, a division of full-service media rep company Katz Media Group, is participating in the launch of RadioExchange, technology developed by Interep to allow the flow of data, such as media orders and invoices, among agencies, the national rep companies and their client radio stations. The goal is to increase accuracy and efficiency by reducing the time and money needed to process information manually and correct errors. Outside of the RadioExchange affiliation, Katz and Interep will continue to work competitively on behalf of their clients.
