Radio Shack touts IBM products

Radio Shack on Tuesday announced a joint national campaign with IBM to promote the sale of IBM's Aptiva and ThinkPad computers in RadioShack stores. The fall campaign will include print, TV and direct mail and will be shared by Ogilvy & Mather, New York, for IBM and Young & Rubicam, New York, for Radio Shack. Radio Shack also announced an alliance with GTE to provide out-of-market cellular phone activation.
