Published on .

Saban Entertainment's long running "Power Rangers" entertainment property is the biggest selling action figure of the decade, pulling in $5 billion in retail sales in the 1990s, according to NPD Group, the Port Washington, N.Y.-based research company that tracks toy sales. Those results eclipse other franchises such as "Star Wars," "Transformers" and "G.I. Joe," as well as wrestling brands WWF and WCW. Bandai America markets the "Power Rangers" toy line.
