Rare Medium opens retail division

Interactive agency Rare Medium, a subsidiary of Rare Medium Group, New York, has introduced Rare Retail, a new service to help traditional retailers compete with online retailers in the Internet space. Rare Retail will provide consultation regarding strategic planning, online brand-building and venture funding, as well as Web site design, online media management, partner selection and online customer service development.
