Razorfish appoints industry-practice leaders

Digital shop Razorfish announced the appointment of two executives to lead its expertise in specific vertical industries. Waseem A. Sheikh joins the company as VP-manufacturing industries, to build out that practice, and Joe Gibson joins the company from Sapient where he had specialized in working with capital markets, as VP-financial services. Razorfish also has executives in charge of media and entertainment; information technology and telecommunications; and health-care services. The New York-based company also announced that it had hired Gerry Berton as VP-marketing programs.
