RDA's Ryder names group chiefs

Reader's Digest Association, Pleasantville, N.Y., in the first major move by new Chairman-CEO Thomas O. Ryder, will reorganize its U.S. and global divisions into four business groups. Named president of a new Global Books & Home Entertainment Group was RDA Senior VP M. John Bohane. Named president of the new U.S. Magazine Publishing Group was RDA Senior VP Gregory G. Coleman, from senior VP-worldwide publisher. Named president of the new International Magazine Publishing Group was RDA Senior VP Robert J. Krefting, most recently a direct marketing entrepreneur but also a former president of CBS Magazines. QSP, RDA's school and youth fund-raising business, will become a stand-alone business unit under its current president, Thomas A. Belli.
