Published on .

Real Media, an online network and ad-server software developer, has linked Latin American-based portals into an advertiser network that claims it has more traffic than StarMedia. Sites in the Real Media Latin American Portal Network include: Ciudad Internet, Argentina; UOL, Brazil; Infosel, Mexico.com and Mexico Web Guide, all based in Mexico. Real Media's Latin American Portal Network generates 540 million monthly page views vs. 400 million for StarMedia, according to Real Media. Real Media represents many national newspapers of Latin America that will be launching portals in the upcoming months. The portals will be added to the Real Media Latin American Portal Network as they are launched.
