Red Jade to name first agency

Red Jade, a marketer of next-generation wireless entertainment products, is expected to name Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., its first agency. The startup, which counts among its investors Ericsson Business Innovation, a new business unit of the Swedish telecom giant, is reported to have advertising spending that could reach as much as $100 million. A Red Jade spokeswoman would not confirm the selection and said there were two other agencies in the review that she declined to name. No final decision has been made, she said
