Internet discussion service RemarQ Communities announces April 19 it has picked up $20 million in a new round of equity funding. Investors include Attractor Investment Management, Benchmark Capital, Bowman Capital Management, Capital Research Management, BayStar Capital and Pivotal/Amerindo. RemarQ's partner program is a way to co-brand its service onto major portals and sites. New partners include Excite, Lycos and IDG.net. All told, RemarQ said the traffic its receives through these co-branded discussion areas adds up to more 5 million page views daily.
