Remarq goes local

Internet discussion group site Remarq announced two integrated content deals March 29. It has inked a deal with Lycos-Bertelsmann's global sites to pull up local Usenet groups in the U.K. It will soon roll the service out for localized sites in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia. Remarq also is adding integrated Usenet discussions on the Y2K issue to IDG.Net's new Y2K World site. Y2K is the most popular Usenet discussion topic, and will bring 6,000 discussions to Y2K World.
