Research newsletter honors NPD execs

Research Business Report, a monthly publication focusing on marketing research, named NPD Group's Tod Johnson, CEO, and Steve Coffey, vice chairman and chief technology officer, its co-Men of the Year for 1996. Messrs. Johnson and Coffey were selected for their introduction of PC-Meter, an audience measurement system that reports Internet usage and habits of a panel of computer users within 10,000 households. The service reports everything that takes place on the PC, including software, online services, e-mail, forum visits and Web sites. PC-Meter plans to track the business community's usage of the Internet in 1997.
