Coco's and Carrows, Irvine, Calif., sister chains owned by Advantica Restaurant Group, named Dieste & Partners, Dallas, as their first Hispanic agency of record following a two-month review that was handled in-house. The assignment comes as the chains step up marketing to Hispanic consumers. Spending will be established after an R&D phase slated to last until year's end, a spokeswoman said. She declined to name the other agencies in the review. The general market agency for Coco's $8 million account is JWT West, San Francisco. Kovel/Fuller, Los Angles, handle's Carrows $6 million general market account.
