Restaurants pick Hispanic shops

Coco's Bakery Restaurant and Carrows Restaurants, sister family dining chains owned by Advantica Restaurant Group, Irvine, Calif., have both tapped agencies for Hispanic advertising and marketing programs for 1999. Coco's, with 488 restaurants, named al Punto Advertising, Santa Ana, Calif. Carrows, with 155 restaurants, named Houston Helm & Bermudez Communications, Los Angeles. Spending for the accounts has not been determined, a Coco's spokeswoman said.
