Mr. Rheins, who most recently was senior VP-marketing and strategy for Time Warner Cable Advertising and the Local Partnership Group, the local marketing arm of AOL Time Warner, will head marketing, research and promotion for AOL's Interactive Marketing Group. His background includes launching Spin Online with AOL, and the Rock.com music network.
Mr. Condon, a long-time Time Inc. executive, will lead the interactive marketing unit's ad sales and revenue reporting, oversee budgets and expenses and the unit's pricing strategies. Most recently, Mr. Condon was exec VP-chief strategist for Media Networks, the local advertising division of Time Inc., where he coordinated partner programs. He also helped implement cross-platform, localized ad programs between the magazine unit, Time Warner Cable and AOL.
Messrs. Rheins and Condon will report to Robert Sherman, president, AOL Interactive Marketing.
In recent weeks, Lon Otremba, another Time Warner Cable alum, joined AOL as exec VP-strategic planning and operations after serving in the same role within AOL Time Warner's Local Partnership Group.
