Richard Frank joins new venture

Published on .

Former Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications Chairman Richard Frank was named chairman and CEO of C3, a Los Angeles-based company that Comcast Corp. is forming to create programming for itself and other media outlets. The unit will also work to develop new distribution channels for Comcast, a major cable TV system operator, and will expand the company's transactional services. Mr. Frank left Disney earlier this year to pursue what he called an "entrepreneurial programming venture."
