Riney hires Saatchi CD

Published on .

Hal Riney & Partners, San Francisco, has hired Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Executive Creative Director Mike Mazza, 39, as a VP-creative director to handle non-Saturn assignments and to help land a new piece of business he later will be able to run with a partner. Mr. Mazza, along with Steve Silver, joined Saatchi in San Francisco last year as executive creative director in the wake of the agency's loss of a major portion of its Hewlett-Packard account. Curtis Melville, who worked as co-creative director on Sprint at Riney, is moving to join Mr. Silver as co-creative director at Saatchi.
