Riney gets new president

Published on .

Hal Riney & Partners, San Francisco, on Monday named Scott Marshall as president, a title empty for some time. Mr. Marshall, who once worked with Mr. Riney at Ogilvy & Mather and headed Cole & Weber in Seattle, most recently has been working on a children's entertainment product. In his announcement memo to staff, Chairman Riney again denied he was leaving the agency or that the agency was for sale.
