RJR exec killed in boat crash

R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. said its top sports marketing executive, T. Wayne Robertson, was killed in a boating accident in southern Louisiana Jan. 14. Mr. Robertson, 48, was a senior VP of Reynolds and president of its Sports Marketing Enterprises division. He oversaw a department that managed RJR's sponsorships of Nascar Winston Cup racing, NHRA Winston Drag racing, the Vantage Championship Senior PGA tournament and Reynolds Tobacco's other sports sponsorships.
