Roadkill: Bits and bytes

Published on .

Playboy, in an effort to build traffic to its Web site, is touting a 1978 interview conducted with William Colby, the former CIA director who has been missing in a canoe accident. In the interview Mr. Colby says, "If a man is a tyrant, then somebody under him has the right to shoot him." The magazine says it will post past interviews from its archives "when current events make the subject topical." No word yet on the fate of Mr. Colby, who has been missing for several days and is presumed drowned.
