RocketBoard to feature AOL services on its Internet keyboard

Published on .

RocketBoard.com will promote America Online services, such as instant messaging and e-mail, through placement on three of the RocketBoard keyboard's 18 Internet buttons. Additionally, RocketBoard and AOL will create the first co-branded version of the RocketBoard Internet keyboard. The RocketBoard keyboard features RocketKeys, located above function keys, that allow fast access to brand names and services on the Internet by pushing a button. AOL will be the only ISP bundled with the RocketBoard keyboard. Non-AOL subscribers will be asked to register with AOL to enable the AOL button features. RocketBoard plans to begin shipping the keyboards in mid-April; as part of the agreement, AOL will receive a minority stake in RocketBoard.com.
