Rodale launches new 'Organic' spin-off

Rodale the week of May 22 tests new title Organic Style, an upscale lifestyle publication under the umbrella of its Organic Living Group. Eighty thousand copies will be distributed in California and North Carolina, as well as nationwide via major booksellers such as Barnes & Noble and Borders Books & Music. The title has a Web site at If successful, the title will be rolled out next March as an every-other-monthly. Rodale Vice Chairman Maria Rodale is the editor. Advertisers in the test include Saab Cars USA and L.L. Bean.
