Rodale names Crow VP of women’s group

Rodale named Elizabeth Crow VP-editorial director of its Women's Health Group, which consists of Prevention magazine, Prevention-branded books, and other book titles targeted to women. Ms. Crow was editor in chief of Conde Nast Publications' Mademoiselle from 1993-1999 and had been CEO and editorial director of Gruner & Jahr USA Publishing from 1988-1993. Ms. Crow will have offices in both New York and Emmaus and will report to Bar Newton, senior VP-managing director of the Women's Health Group. Last summer, Rodale CEO Steve Murphy announced plans for significant expansion into magazines.
