Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is adding a leasing program as part of a move to more aggressive marketing. Newspaper ads that broke today in the Wall Street Journal and in 10 major markets tout monthly payments of $1,699 for a Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn and $1,499 for a Bentley Brooklands. Both deals are on 36-month leases with 10% down payments. The ads were created in-house. Rolls-Royce sold 330 cars in the U.S. in 1994 and hopes to boost that total to about 430 units this year, said a spokesman for the Paramus, N.J.-based importer.
