Ross Roy moves into fold of BBDO Worldwide

Published on .

Ross Roy Communications Sept. 13 became a wholly owned subsidiary of BBDO Worldwide, no longer a unit of Omnicon Group's Diversified Agency Services. The move unites two Chrysler shops. Tom Clark, vice chairman of BBDO Worldwide and CEO of BBDO, Southfield, will oversee Ross Roy. He said there will be no job cuts. Ross Roy Chairman-CEO-President Peter Mills, who led the sale to Omnicon, will leave after the transition, and will be succeeded by William Oswald, BBDO Detroit president-CEO.
