General Motors Corp.'s Chevrolet Division will introduce its 1998 Corvette convertible via a 2,400-mile road trip along U.S. 66, or Route 66, starting Sept. 9. The so-called "Return to the Road" promotion with a caravan of 20 new Corvettes will raise money for the National Kidney Foundation.
