The incumbent and five to six other advertising agencies will be invited to pitch for the business, according to a Rover spokesman.
The review follows the May appointment of John Parkinson to the newly created position of Rover marque director. The review will not affect other Rover business, such as the MG and Mini brands, which are handled by separate marketing departments, according to the Rover spokesman.
A new campaign devised by APL for Rover's 75 marque is due to break next week.
