Royal Caribbean review on hold

Published on .

Royal Caribbean Cruise--down to four finalists in the lengthy review of its $8 million direct marketing account--put the review on hold shortly after final presentations were made at its Miami headquarters. Integral to the delay is Senior VP-Marketing Adam Gold-stein's promotion out of the marketing department and into the Total Guest Satisfaction Division as senior VP; a search is under way for his replacement. Minnetonka, Minn., consultant Jan Apple handles the review. The finalists are FCB Direct and OgilvyOne, both New York; Rapp Collins Worldwide, Dallas; and McKinney & Silver, Raleigh, N.C., pitching with Knowledgebase Marketing, Chapel Hill. CF2GS, Seattle, previously handled.
