Royal family gets wired

Published on .

The British royal family is the subject of a new Web site launched by the U.K.'s Associated Newspapers, publisher of the Daily Mail and London's Evening Standard.

News, gossip and trivia about the "world's most famous family," along with archive material collected by journalists over the past 100 years, will be featured on the site.

"The last decade has seen an enormous increase in the level of interest that the world has shown in the British royal family," says Martin Dunn, editor of Associated Newspaper's Harmsworth New Media.
