RTV (Radio TV Reports) is licensing technology from eWorks, a Minneapolis company. It will use the system to monitor the Internet's 25,000 newsgroups and mailing lists for mentions of client names.
"We've been providing clients with broadcaster feedback for a while," said Patricia Sobel, manager of sales development for New York-based RTV. "Now we're closing the loop and providing clients with consumer feedback."
Monitoring the Web
The company is also testing technology that can monitor activity on bulletin boards on the World Wide Web. It does not monitor Web news services, however.
RTV is targeting marketers, ad agencies and public relations companies that want to track what consumers on the Internet are saying about brands and services.
$295 per month
