Ruhr now HMS/Ruhr

Chuck Ruhr Advertising, Minneapolis, on Thursday received final bankruptcy court approval to combine its remaining assets with HMS Partners, Columbus, Ohio, forming HMS/Ruhr. The new $25 million shop will handle creative and account services from Minneapolis; media buying and planning will be handled by HMS' national media department in Columbus.

"The relationship with HMS allows us to concentrate our resources directly into our creative capabilities," said Tim Pearson, newly named HMS/Ruhr exec VP-director of account service, from management director at Ruhr. The agency's client roster includes Target Stores, Hormel Foods and the Toro Co.
