Saatchi adds healthcare unit

Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, New York, has launched "The Healthcare Connection" as a joint venture with Compton Partners for the marketing of consumer healthcare products and services. It will be co-managed by Tom Lom, previously president of William Douglas McAdams, and Dick Anderson, currently chairman and chief creative officer of Compton. Brands will include the full line of Tylenol products and cold remedies from McNeil Consumer Products as well as J&J/Merck's Mylanta and Pepcid AC. Billings are estimated at over $200 million.
