Saatchi taps Mediacom exec to lead integrated advertising efforts

LONDON -- Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising is strengthening its efforts to offer clients integrated advertising with the appointment of Andrew Goulborn, currently the U.K. deputy managing director at MediaCom, Grey International's media buying and planning independent, as Saatchi's first communications director, effective April 14.

Goulborn will be responsible for a team of 40, made up of the agency's Media and Integration departments and Saatchi & Saatchi Vision, a consultancy dedicated to innovation and new media which launched last year.

"Advertisers have increasingly been demanding genuinely integrated communications solutions and Saatchi & Saatchi has been listening. My career to date has been focused on finding and executing the most efficient and effective message delivery systems for advertisers. At Saatchi & Saatchi, I will simply be extending this through the line," Goulborn says.
