The 400-plus attendees at the American Association of Advertising Agencies' conference in Bermuda may have thought they had escaped the commercial actors strike called by the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television & Radio Artists. But as the ad execs cruised at sunset to the Royal Navy Dockyards May 12, they were serenaded by the blast of an airhorn on a nearby boat carrying a banner reading, "Pay per play. Fair contract for SAG/AFTRA." Some ad execs waved back, but there was little discussion of the actors' action.
