Online pub Salon Magazine has formed distribution alliances with America Online, WebTV Network and four Web content aggregators. The separate agreements allow Salon to access a larger audience through online services, browsers, push technology and TV-based Internet access. In addition to AOL and Web TV, Salon will distribute its interactive magazine on books, arts and ideas through CNET, Netscape Communications Corp., Desktop News, and PointCast Business Network Connections super channel.
