Sassa takes post overseeing Marvel

Scott M. Sassa has been named president-chief operating officer of Andrews Group, owner of an 81% interest in Marvel Entertainment Group. Andrews, a unit of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings, is seeking to enter new areas after the sale of its New World Communications Group to News Corp. Mr. Sassa is former president of Turner Entertainment Group. He was one of several executives left without a job after the Time Warner/Turner Broadcasting System merger.
