Southwestern Bell Telephone is in the midst of a one-two marketing punch, provided by D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, St. Louis. A print and broadcast effort (l.) for the sale of Digital Satellite System equipment details the benefits of what is called "a new generation of television." In the second campaign, humorous radio and TV spots (r.) show other household tasks (such as "Mow lawn" and "Make toast") that consumers wish they could accomplish as easily as phoning via voice-activated dialing.
