Saturn names Hudler president

Donald Hudler, one of the key architects of Saturn Corp.'s brand-building strategies, has been promoted to president of Saturn from VP-sales, service and marketing. Richard "Skip" LeFauve, who had been president, takes the new position of chairman and remains a group executive in charge of General Motors Corp.'s small car group. Mr. LeFauve will oversee Saturn's strategic direction, while Mr. Hudler will be responsible for operations, including sales, service and marketing; manufacturing; and the management of Saturn's relationship with the United Auto Workers.
