General Motors Corp.'s Saturn Corp., Troy, Mich., is partnering with eBay
, San Jose, Calif., to offer inspections of used cars sold online. Saturn dealers will do the inspections, which are expected to cost less than $100 each. EBay's co-branded Web site with recent partner AutoTrader.com
will carry information about the new service. The program will start testing next month in Houston, Indianapolis and Nashville before a national rollout. A spokeswoman said there's been no decision on advertising yet. The deal should generate more traffic to Saturn's 425-plus facilities.
