Schanzer rejoins NBC Sports

Ken Schanzer has rejoined NBC as exec VP at NBC Sports, the same position he held when he left in 1993 to become president-CEO of the Baseball Network. NBC Sports never filled Mr. Schanzer's job. That, coupled with the fact that other top Baseball Network executives seemed to maintain ties to their former posts, led some to wonder about the viability of the ill-fated venture of NBC, ABC and Major League Baseball.
