Schlotzky's, Austin, Texas, tapped McGarrah/Jesse to handle its $14 million creative account, following a monthlong review. The agency becomes the first outside shop for the 736-unit Schlotzky's Deli chain and will handle its first network advertising, slated to break this spring. Regional commercials spotlighting food products also will be produced to run in conjunction with national brand-building efforts, the company said. Western International Media, Chicago, handles network buying.
