Schulhof exits Sony

Published on .

Michael P. Schulhof is quitting as Sony Corp.'s top U.S. executive to pursue what he says are new business interests in the new technologies and entertainment arena. Mr. Schulhof had been president and CEO of Sony Corp. of America, which includes most of Sony's U.S. divisions. He said Tuesday that he wanted to take an "entrepreneurial role" outside the corporation. Sony said Norio Ohga, chairman of Sony Corp. of America, will become CEO.
