Published on .

PHILADELPHIA-Richard R. Nicolosi, 46, has been named to the new post of senior VP-Worldwide Consumer Products at Scott Paper Co., the first time Scott will put its worldwide consumer marketing under one umbrella and executive.

The move is part of a corporate restructuring program led by Scott Chairman-CEO Albert J. Dunlap.

Since April 1992, Mr. Nicolosi had headed marketing consultancy Nicolosi & Associates, Highland Beach, Fla.

Previously, he was a corporate group VP at Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, where he managed paper products, among others. The University of Notre Dame alumnus spent 23 years at P&G.

"Dick completes my team of seasoned, proven business leaders who will help formulate Scott's strategy to focus on and strengthen our core worldwide tissue business," Mr. Dunlap said, adding that the company is committed to making changes. "He will play a key role in helping Scott's transition from a paper company to a consumer products company."
