Scout goes guerrilla

Scout Electromedia, San Francisco, will launch a guerrilla marketing effort and print ads to promote its Modo handheld device, starting Aug. 7 in three cities. Modo will feature entertainment and sports listings for Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. The estimated $10 million effort is by Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore.
