Seagram eyes another TV test

Seagram Co. is targeting Jacksonville, Fla., in another challenge to a 48-year-old taboo on advertising liquor on television. Seagram officials have approached Jacksonville television stations with plans to run ads for Crown Royal whisky around the winter holidays. Last June a station in Corpus Christi, Texas, carried a month-long campaign of 30-second ads for Crown Royal.
