SEARCH 123 TO LAUNCH COST-PER-CLICK BANNERS AT AD:TECH

Published on .

(April 30, 2001) -- At this week's Ad:tech online advertising conference in Los Angeles, Search 123, a Westlake Village, Calif.-based company that runs an auction-based search engine, will launch cost-per-click banners. The company says it will let advertisers set their own rates by bidding for the keyword they are interested in buying. Advertisers will only pay for the ads that receive a click-through.
