Sears shuffles execs under new marketing chief Cohen

Sears, Roebuck & Co., Hoffman Estates, Ill., shuffled senior marketing management and placed all the retailer's stores, brands and entities under the direction of new Exec VP-Marketing Mark A. Cohen. David W. Selby, 42, moves to the new post of senior VP-retail marketing for full-line stores, automotive, Great Indoors, hardware and dealer stores. Previously, Mr. Selby was VP-marketing services, handling media and Internet marketing. Robert Thacker, 51, takes the new post of senior VP-retail marketing services from VP-marketing for full-line stores. Ann L. Raives, 42, VP-customer information and relationship marketing, gets additional duties for marketing finances, market planning and analysis. Previously, a number of Sears entities, such as Home Services, had independent marketing functions; they now will report indirectly to Mr. Cohen, who succeeded John Costello, now president of Republic Industries.
