SEC tells brewer no trading on Web

Spring Street Brewing Co. publicly sold $1.6 million in shares to 3,500 curious Web surfers since last year, when it became the first company to sell stock on the Web. Last week, the Securities & Exchange Commission halted Spring Street's innovative sequel: Wit-Trade, the Web's first secondary trading system, named for Spring Street's Wit beer.
